CHANGE your Name, or LIVE UP to IT

For ignorant and selfish reasons, many Christians have lost the Peace of God WITHIN, and are living WITHOUT Peace with Men. And because of their lack of commitment to the true Gospel, they are now being used as agents of Satan and instrument of violence to kill, steal, and destroy – John 10:10; hence they are neither useful to God as ministers of reconciliation -2 Corinthians 5:18 nor effective for the cause of the gospel.

Indeed, many are neglecting a vital component of the whole armour which establishes stability for active warfare against the kingdom of darkness. That is, the foot kit and readiness that comes from the gospel of peace

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

Without fears or reservation, let me say: MAJORITY of Christian in our days are living without the Peace that the gospel of Christ produces; they neither have the peace of God nor are in anyway at Peace with God and Men.

The ONLY way the POWER of the gospel of Christ can be demonstrated and effective upon the World is through the way of Peace. Yet, one major way Satan has succeeded in weakening this power of the Gospel in the world today is by provoking believers into VIOLENCE in the name of warfare prayers; thereby ensuring that our FEET is without the SHOES that demonstrate our readiness to be effective and faithful witnesses of the Gospel of Christ.

In fact, the feet of the disciples, who were delivering that message of peace, are figuratively described as beautiful and not bloody as ours today: “And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!’” (Romans 10:15).

My concern for you is that, if your feet is NOT fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, do you realize how many spiritual death you could be responsible for? How many people will perish and needlessly be destroyed eternally because of you, which may include your family?

“…and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.” Ephesians 6:15

The enemy would sometimes place sharp, spiked objects on the ground in front and ahead before a battle. Any attacking soldier not wearing shoes substantial enough for the attack would soon find himself crippled or killed. Though the shoes were not by any means the most well-known part of the soldier’s armour, they were vital. The same is true where the armour of God is concerned.
Now, the question is, how are your feet prepared for the walk? A Christian wearing the armour of God will have his or her feet prepared and shod in the gospel of peace!

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14. If it is possible, AS FAR AS IT DEPENDS ON YOU, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18

Unavoidably, offenses will come from people all over; evils and wickedness will be fashioned against you from Flesh and Blood even closely dear to you. But will you allow this certain and constant experiences to break your peace to the extent of weakening your readiness to manifest the love of God and the power of the Gospel towards them? Or will you reinvent the excruciating pains of their afflictions into deep burden for intercession, to wrestle their souls from the grip of Satan and snatch them from hell? In doing the latter, you will become a faithful ambassador of the Cross of Christ.

You’re right. Flesh and Blood is real and it can be very evil. But what I mean is this. Whenever someone’s flesh attacks me, or someone’s blood boils against me, or my way is hindered by man, something else is also going on, something deeper, bigger, more terrible, more sinister, more destructive than meets the eye –there is a higher cause than your hurts, and a stronger purpose than your pains. I don’t mean that flesh and blood can’t hurt or hinder the cause of Christ. I mean that the prince of the power of the air is more dangerous than any of his subjects and that he must be overcome in every instance of conflict, or the battle is lost.

But, “…for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8

The real battle in evangelism is not with demonic powers or evil people, but in contending and living for the truths of the Gospel
These “Flesh and Blood” that hurts you so badly are the reasons for which you were commissioned by grace as an Agent of Peace and designated a Minister of Reconciliation. LIVE UP to your NAME!

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

Let your feet be ready to move with the gospel. Feet are for moving from one place to another. If you put on shoes of readiness, then the idea would seem to be readiness to do what feet are for, namely, moving. And if the readiness is readiness of the gospel it probably means ready to move with the gospel—move with gospel power and for gospel purposes.

Shalom!
