Spiritual Intelligence for MAINTAINING a FOOTHOLD of Peace in your LIFE.
It is high time you LIVED UP to the reality of your identity in Christ, and .begin to Rest in the PEACE of God for your life. As a Child of God, it is God’s will that you live in peace and not in anxiety and despair.
It is MOST appropriate to consistently prophesy to a Christian “Rest in Peace”, than to be wishing the dead for nothing; because no man actually knows the destiny of the dead, but a believer is MOST certain of his heritage in Christ; a heritage of Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost –Romans 14:17. Hallelujah!
It is easy to allow your peace to be stolen if you are not careful to guard it. The enemy strategically sows seeds of discouragement, discontentment, and subtle fears aiming at taking away your peace. But you have to deliberately “Let the Peace Christ Rule in your hearts” – Colossians 3:15
The aim of Satan is to cause you to lose concentration in the midst of battle, and shift your focus from the position of strength to weakness; knowing that a distracted mind is a death trap that creates foothold for confusion, and ultimately defeat. That is the reason the scripture say most assuredly, “You [God] will keep in Perfect Peace, those whose mind are steadfast, because they trust in you” Isaiah 26:3
Lack of peace crashes your strength while crushing your faith in God. Therefore, don’t give Satan the chance to kill your joy, steal your peace, and destroy your faith in God.
Since you indeed died, and have been raised with Christ, then SET your hearts and STRIVE to ensure that your life is kept in perfect peace by refusing to be devastated by fear and coax into perplexing anxiety by circumstances of life. Therefore, “SET your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:2-3. In other words, DO NOT allow EARTHLY circumstances to define your perspective about your position in God and its associated advantages; of which PEACE is one.
You must have confidence of your position in Christ. You must stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, regardless of how terrifying the circumstances may be (1 John 5:14)
Satan will do all he can to devastate you, to overwhelm you, to frustrate you, and to stir up trials, strive, and stumbling. It is what he does best – Stealing, Killing, and Destroying. However, I SAY TO YOU: Stand your Ground, and raise the banner of Truth, and push past his lies, and step over his traps.
Don’t let him win!
Verily, Verily, Verily, you have Peace with God through Christ Jesus, it is therefore your RESPONSIBILITY to retain and maintain the Peace of God deposited into your life.
When Satan attacks with a flaming missile of doubt, such as “If God really loved you, He wouldn’t have let this happen,” we dig our peace shoes into the turf of God’s Word and reply, “It is written: All things work together for the good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28). When Satan stabs from behind with “Remember what you did?” we dig in more deeply and reply, “It is written: If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
Satan establishes and operates a CYCLE of CONFUSION in a life he has a foothold. This he does strategically using his Four (4) most deadly demons.
- Spirit of Fear:Satan begins with this spirit, and uses him to deflate the hope of the believer in the promises of God, and create a hole in the believer’s faith towards God. He punctures Faith with the spirit of fear. Cheer up! You have overcome. Stand up, and resist him in Jesus Name. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.” 2Timothy 1:7.
- Spirit of Anxiety:Satan continues his onslaught on any soul he succeeded in creating a grip of fear, using anxiety. He uses anxiety to weaken the soul with hopelessness in order to deactivate its power to resist him. Anxiety disempowers the human spirit to feed on faith, and beclouds its vision to be stayed on God.
Nevertheless, you are already victorious in Christ. Activate your conquest by trusting His potent Word; “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ” Philippians 4:6-7.
- Spirit of Panic/Despair:Satan uses panic to reinforce the activities of anxiety to achieve destructive end in a life. Panics strikes with errors of judgement and mistakes from a weakened mind. Panic slays the soul completely with confusion, and kills hope with regrets and dread of consequences. It ushers a life unto the brink of destruction and edge of the grave, waiting for the spirit of death to consume.
Are you in terror and great despair? Thus says LORD almighty to you, “Fear not, for I AM with you; do not despair, for I am your God: I will strengthen you and help you. Surely, I will uphold you with the right [victorious] hand of my righteousness” Isaiah 41:10
- Spirit of Death:The last stroke Satan throws at life is death; his ultimate purpose. But glory to God, who has brought us into triumph over death through Christ. You have the life of God in you, so death CANNOT overrun you. Therefore, raise the banner of truth and resist every operation of death in and around you today. For it is written, “Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? 1 Corinthians 15:54-55
Moreover, even Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, laid down an example for us to follow in the face of storms and challenges of life; he had a REST in PEACE. “The waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But [Jesus] was in the stern, asleep on the cushion” (Mark 4:37–38). It’s significant that Jesus’ sleep was deep and sound, even through the storm, which was “already filling” the boat.
DO NOT lose your peace in storm to fear.
Let your COURAGE cause the enemy to PANIC in perplexity.
Be Resolute to stay calm no matter what happens; even if the circumstance will eventually kill you, die keeping your cool.
The Bible says “the sleep of a believer will be sweet and peaceful because he knows the Lord is with him” (Proverbs 3:24; Psalm 4:8).
Therefore, what I say to YOU, I say to ALL:
REST in PEACE!
