Setting up your Mind for Spiritual Intelligence

There is always a constant pressure on our minds, demanding us to conform to our social and cultural environment in various ways, and by all means. But we have the mind of Christ (1Corithians 2:16b), which has the propensity to function with spiritual intelligence, and also the proclivity towards everything Godly.

In other words, the mind of Christ in you has the capacity to understand spiritual information, and the ability to process divine instructions.

The mind has an important role to play in operating spiritual intelligence, that is why regulating and controlling the condition of your minds is very vital to its effectiveness. Your mind is the central processor for any form of light, information, or spiritual signal.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

The greek word “nooce”, translated as MIND in the scripture references above is a compound word for “thought, feeling, or will”. Consequently, we are encouraged, according to Romans 12:2, and because of the pressurized social and cultural environmental factors, to always ensure that we consistently renew our minds (thoughts, feelings [emotions], and will).

Intelligence is operated with the mind (thought, feeling, and will), so in other to operate Spiritual Intelligence effectively, you will have to make daily deliberate decisions to keep your mind renewed;  pure in your thoughts, temperate in your feelings, and obedient with your will.

In other words, your primary responsibility is to ensure that you are always being renewed in the spirit of your mind (Ephesians 4:23).

To be Spiritually Intelligent, you must be Spiritually Minded

In fact, being spiritually minded is a matter of life and death. Paul said in Romans 8:6, “To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” This is because, our experiences are direct results of our mindedness; the outcomes of our lives are products of our thoughts, feelings, and will.

Your mind is God’s gift to fulfil your destiny, don’t use your mind against yourself.

The mind is the realm of reality, renew your mind and you’ll be renewing your life.

Tomorrow, I will conclude today’s topic teaching on “How to be Spiritually Minded”

Stay blessed.
